SHERPA Engineering and EPICNPOC collaborate to bridge the user experience with complex system development

Today SHERPA engineering and EPICNPOC signed a MOU to deliver solutions for the seamless
development of smart products in complex systems, addressing the challenge of bridging technology with
meaningful user experiences.

The integration of Model Based Design and Model Based System Engineering tools from SHERPA with
the distributed system modelling and service-oriented architecture from EPICNPOC allows companies to
quickly innovate their smart products – better and faster.

Developing robust complex systems with an innovative user experience is a growing challenge that needs
to be addressed in many domains: automotive, railways, aeronautics, mobility, home intelligence, Industry
4.0. Combining their tools and expertise, SHERPA and EPICNPOC propose a set of models, components
and reference set-ups for agile and incremental implementations.

“Through our collaboration with Sherpa Engineering for several years, we learned that we share a
common culture and unique opportunity to combine cartesian engineering with systems theory and
design thinking” Bertrand Stelandre, CEO of epicnpoc.

“Based on the extensive user experience knowledge of epicnpoc and our expertise of complex systems
design and control, we expect to support our customers to efficiently deliver innovative products to their
customers” Salah Aksas, Director of Operations of Sherpa Engineering .
